If you are searching for Kaching Bundles alternatives, you probably want one of three things: more placements than the product page, fewer separate subscriptions, or a different price curve as your store grows. Kaching Bundles is a well-reviewed app, so the useful question is not “which app is better?” but “which gap am I trying to close?”
A note on transparency: Moon Bundles is our app, and it is one of the options below. Every figure about a competitor comes from the public Shopify App Store listings as read on August 31, 2026 (Kaching’s higher pricing tiers were read on October 29, 2026), and we say where each competitor is the better choice. Prices and limits change, so confirm them on each listing before you decide.
Why Look for a Kaching Bundles Alternative?
Kaching Bundles has the largest body of public reviews in this category: 5,416 reviews at 5.0 stars on its listing (as of August 31, 2026). Its bundle editor has a long track record, with layouts, swatches, custom CSS and HTML, multi-currency and multi-language support. Its Starter plan is $14.99 a month, $5 below our first paid plan. For a store that only needs bundles, that is a strong package.
The reasons to look elsewhere are usually about scope and cost curve:
- You want a cart drawer and a post-purchase upsell next to your bundles. At Kaching, both are separate apps (Kaching CartDrawer Cart Upsell and Kaching Post Purchase Upsell), billed separately.
- You want progressive gifts that unlock as the cart value grows, in the same app.
- You want to test on a live store before paying. Kaching’s free plan is for development stores only.
- You expect to grow past $10,000 of additional revenue. Beyond that point, Kaching moves to $99, $149, $199 and then $299 a month, its only uncapped tier (as of October 29, 2026).
- You want fewer apps and fewer scripts on the storefront.

How Each Alternative Differs
Moon Bundles
Moon Bundles combines bundles, volume discounts, free gifts and a cart drawer with upsells, plus a one-click post-purchase upsell, in a single install. The free Discovery plan runs up to $500 of generated revenue with one module of your choice. Paid plans cost $19.99, $39.99 and $79.99 a month, each includes all four modules and A/B testing across modules, and starts with a 7 day free trial. Our listing shows a 5.0 rating across 613 reviews (as of August 31, 2026).
It is AI-powered in two concrete ways: an MCP connector on every plan, the free one included, which lets you work from Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini with nothing shipping until you approve it, and Agents that follow your offer results and prepare the next tests, which you can start from Claude Cowork.
Where it is weaker than Kaching: far fewer public reviews, a less established bundle editor, and a first paid plan that costs $5 more.
Rapi Bundles
Rapi Bundles covers bundles, volume discounts, a post-purchase upsell and A/B testing in one app, and it also covers subscription bundles. It does not cover a cart drawer or free gifts unlocked by cart value. It is a sensible move if you want post-purchase in the same app as your bundles and do not need the cart layer. See Rapi Bundles alternatives and Moon Bundles vs Rapi Bundles.
Amose Bundle
Amose lists bundles, quantity breaks, gifts, a cart drawer and post-purchase offers, and its unlimited plan is the cheapest in our comparison. It has far fewer public reviews than Kaching, and its listing does not mention A/B testing, which means changing offers without measuring what they earn. See Moon Bundles vs Amose Bundle.
UpCart
UpCart is a cart drawer specialist, and the depth shows: announcements, sticky cart, countdown timers, rewards and tiered progress bars. If the cart is the only thing you want to change, a dedicated tool is a defensible choice. It does not cover bundles, so you would keep a bundle app next to it. See Moon Bundles vs UpCart.
AfterSell
AfterSell has the deepest post-purchase funnel we compare: upsells and downsells, a drag-and-drop editor, and checkout upsells on Shopify Plus. If post-purchase is your whole strategy, it goes deeper than Moon Bundles. It does not cover bundles, volume discounts, gifts or a cart drawer. See Moon Bundles vs AfterSell, and our guide to the Shopify post-purchase upsell.
Other bundle apps and Shopify’s native bundles
Many other bundle apps exist, and Shopify also offers its own bundle capability. We do not quote figures for them here. Whichever you shortlist, check the same points on each listing: which bundle types it supports, whether variants carry correctly into the order, and whether the cart drawer and post-purchase offers are included or require another app. For a wider view, see our guides to the best Shopify bundle app and Bundler app alternatives.
Which Alternative Fits Your Store?
- You want bundles, a cart drawer and a post-purchase upsell without three subscriptions: Moon Bundles, or Amose Bundle if price is the deciding factor.
- You want post-purchase in the same app as your bundles, but not a cart drawer: Rapi Bundles.
- The cart is your only leak: UpCart, alongside a bundle app.
- Post-purchase is your main lever: AfterSell, especially on Shopify Plus.
- Reviews decide for you and you mainly need bundles: stay on Kaching Bundles. Switching for layers you do not need costs time and risks conversion.
To judge the result of any change, track Shopify average order value together with conversion rate and revenue per visitor, not AOV alone.
What to Check Before Switching
- Inventory your live offers: every bundle, quantity break and tier, with products, prices and conditions. Offers may need to be recreated in the new app.
- Record a baseline: conversion rate, average order value and revenue per visitor over a representative period. Save any app-specific reports you need before switching.
- Check theme compatibility and discount stacking on a duplicate theme before touching the live one, including variants, mobile layout and the cart drawer.
- Read the current plan details on the listing, since limits and prices change.
- Run both setups against each other, ideally with an A/B split, and switch only when the new offers match or beat the baseline.
- Remove leftover scripts and disable the old app once nothing duplicates on the storefront.
Frequently asked questions
Is Kaching Bundles a bad app?
No. It has the largest body of public reviews in the category and a mature bundle editor. People look for alternatives for specific reasons: the cart drawer and post-purchase upsell are separate apps, the free plan is limited to development stores, or the price curve above $10,000 of additional revenue. If none of those apply, there is no reason to switch.
Which alternative covers the most modules in one app?
On the modules we compare (bundles, volume discounts, free gifts, cart drawer, post-purchase upsell and A/B testing), Moon Bundles covers all six in one install. Amose Bundle lists five of them on paper, without A/B testing. Check each listing before deciding.
Can I test Moon Bundles without paying?
Yes. The Discovery plan is free up to $500 of generated revenue and includes one module of your choice. Every paid plan starts with a 7 day free trial and includes all four modules; the MCP connector comes with every plan. See the pricing page for the plans.
What does AI-powered mean for Moon Bundles?
Two concrete things. Every plan, the free one included, comes with an MCP connector, so you can drive the app from Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini, and nothing ships until you approve it. And Moon Bundles Agents watch your offer results with you and prepare the next tests. It does not mean guaranteed results.
Will my Kaching Bundles offers transfer automatically?
Do not assume they will. Offers, product selections, discount rules and display settings may need to be recreated in the new app. Document your current setup first, then test each offer with the relevant products and variants before making it visible to customers.
Should I run Kaching Bundles and a new app at the same time?
Only during a controlled test. Two apps changing prices or discounts on the same products can stack or conflict. Test the new app on a duplicate theme or on a limited set of products, compare revenue per visitor against your baseline, then retire the old app once nothing duplicates on the storefront.
